Padi

Formed in the mid-1990s, Indonesian band Padi gained recognition with their 1999 debut album, <i>Lain Dunia</i>. Lead guitarist and chief songwriter Piyu, along with frontman Fadly, contributed to the band's success, resulting in millions of sales and mainstream popularity, particularly with their 2001 release <i>Sesuatu Yang Tertunda</i>. Following a hiatus in the 2010s, the Surabaya-based group returned in 2019 with their sixth album, <i>Indera Keenam</i>.
