Biography

Formed in the mid-1990s, Indonesian band Padi gained recognition with their 1999 debut album, Lain Dunia. Lead guitarist and chief songwriter Piyu, along with frontman Fadly, contributed to the band's success, resulting in millions of sales and mainstream popularity, particularly with their 2001 release Sesuatu Yang Tertunda. Following a hiatus in the 2010s, the Surabaya-based group returned in 2019 with their sixth album, Indera Keenam.
