Osman Mir is an Indian playback singer known for his contributions to Hindi and Gujarati movies since 2013. His notable works include the song "Mor Bani Thanghat Kare" from the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela.
In a serendipitous turn of events, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali discovered Osman Mir through YouTube and was determined to have him sing a dream song that he had heard many years prior. After a month and a half of pursuit, Osman was finally approached by Bhansali's team and given the opportunity to record the song without an audition. Osman's rendition of the traditional folk song not only met but exceeded expectations, earning him international acclaim and a heartfelt embrace from Bhansali.
