Biography

Orishas, a pioneering Cuban rap group, was established in Paris before gaining international acclaim for their fusion of Latin rhythms and hip-hop. They covered a range of topics including immigration, identity, and Afro-Cuban religion across four studio albums and the Latin Grammy-nominated compilation Antidiotico. Disbanding in 2009, they reunited years later to record in Cuba, resulting in the 2018 album Gourmet, featuring collaborations with a diverse range of artists.
