Biography

Organized Konfusion, a Queens-based hip-hop duo, was formed by Prince Poetry and Pharoahe Monch in their neighborhood. After starting out as Simply 2 Positive, the duo worked with producer Paul C and released their self-titled debut album in 1991 under Hollywood Records. They later signed with Priority label for their 1997 release, The Equinox, which delved into the lives of inner-city teens. Organized Konfusion's music is known for its bold and intellectual approach to hip-hop.
