I was born at last, but from birth I've been gasping for air, like a misplaced Christmas present. I lack everything I want, yet want everything, leaving me indifferent. Existing without needing to desire, I seem to have no choice. It's important that someone else desires. I've always excelled in learning, so much so that I can't remember it all. I excel at doing the unnecessary and should avoid what's necessary. I believe I speak too little and not when I should. When I should, I say nothing. It's better not to speak when words fail, as one might say too much. I am well-mannered from home, smile genuinely, and can manage without a fork. I carry a knife in my pocket. I'm healthy, don't smoke, yet remain passive. From midnight to noon, I'm occupied; from sunrise to sunset, less so. I'm never truly free.
