Biography
One eskimO, an atmospheric acoustic/electronic band formed by Kristian Leontiou and Craigie Dodds, gained commercial success with their debut single "Hometime" released on their own label, Little Polar Records. Following the single's acclaim and winning the 'Best British Animation Award' for its music video, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2009. The album achieved popularity in the U.S., becoming the most played record of the year on AAA radios at the America Music Awards. One eskimO collaborated with Warner Pictures and Gravy Media to create a full-length movie based on the album, featuring Kristian's animated characters, which were shown as short films at Warner Bros cinemas across the U.S. before main features.
After touring America for nearly three years, Craigie and Kristian returned to the studio in 2012 to work on their next project, 'Faster than Turtles'.
