Formed in 2007 on the beaches of Uruguay, Onda Vaga emerged from the merging of two bands: Doris (Nacho Rodriguez and ctx) and Michael Mike (negri and Tomás Justo), joined by Germán Cohen on vocals and trombone. With over fifteen years of history, the band has released six studio albums, including Fuerte Y Caliente (2008), Espíritu Salvaje (2010), Magma Elemental (2013), OV IV (2016), Nuestras Canciones (2018), and Témpera mental (2021). They have also completed eight European tours and gained recognition as a breakout act at Japan's Fuji Rock festival, sharing the stage with the likes of Radiohead, Stone Roses, and Noel Gallagher, impressing audiences with their energetic live performances.
