Noisettes

The Noisettes, originally a garage-influenced indie rock group, evolved into a diverse band exploring disco and pop. Founded by Dan Smith and Shingai Shoniwa, the trio released their debut EP in 2004, attracting attention from prominent British acts. Signed to Universal Music in 2006, they released their debut album in 2007 and continued to experiment with new sounds, culminating in their third album, Contact, in 2012, showcasing their eclectic evolution.

With a blend of punk energy and soulful blues, the Noisettes' music journeyed from their early indie rock roots to disco and pop influences. Their international deal with Universal Music in 2006 led to the release of their debut album and subsequent singles that showcased a polished pop sound. Despite lineup changes, the core duo of Smith and Shoniwa continued to push musical boundaries, releasing their third album, Contact, in 2012, which highlighted their eclectic and evolving musical style.
