German composer and musician Nils Frahm merges acoustic and electronic instruments, primarily focusing on pianos and synthesizers. His diverse discography includes solo piano compositions, melodic synthesizer pieces, and soundtrack work, with notable releases such as Streichelfisch (2005), Wintermusik (Sonic Pieces), and the acclaimed Felt (2011).
