Nikos Vertis, hailing from Thessaloniki, began his music career in Athens after gaining popularity at the club "Rodon." His debut album in 2003, "Poli Apotoma Vradiazei," earned him the title of "Best New Artist," followed by accolades for "Best Male Laiko Singer" in 2004 with the release of his second album, "Pame Psihi Mou," and a platinum-selling third album in 2005. Vertis continued to achieve success with subsequent platinum albums and international collaborations, culminating in a 20th-anniversary celebration in 2023 with sold-out shows.

As a prominent figure in Greek music, Nikos Vertis boasts the largest independent YouTube channel among Greek artists. He set a record with the music video for "An Ise Asteri" exceeding 100 million views and later surpassed it with "Thelo Na Me Niosis" reaching 200 million views.
