Nija, a talented R&B vocalist, producer, and songwriter, started her music career by writing tracks for artists like SZA and Beyoncé before releasing her own solo singles. Born Nija Charles in Union, New Jersey in 1997, she attended NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, where she honed her production skills before signing with Universal Music Publishing Group in 2017. With a string of successful songwriting credits for artists ranging from 21 Savage to Lady Gaga, Nija unveiled her debut project, "Don't Say I Didn't Warn You," in early 2022, showcasing her smooth instrumentals and catchy pop hooks.
