Nigo

Nigo, a prominent street fashion designer of brands like BAPE and Billionaire Boys Club, is also a DJ, hip-hop producer, and label owner. Mentored by Hiroshi Fujiwara, Nigo founded BAPE in 1993, later forming the rap group Teriyaki Boyz and collaborating with artists such as Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. After focusing on fashion in the 2010s, Nigo returned to music in the early 2020s with singles featuring A$AP Rocky, Kid Cudi, and Pusha T, leading to the release of his second album, "I Know Nigo," in 2022, featuring appearances from artists like Lil Uzi Vert and Tyler, the Creator.

Nigo's musical journey began with his debut album, "Ape Sounds," in 2000, which showcased a blend of trip-hop, dub, and indie rock. He later formed the Japanese hip-hop supergroup Teriyaki Boyz and released collaborations with prominent artists like Daft Punk and Busta Rhymes. Throughout the years, Nigo continued to intertwine his passion for fashion and music, founding Billionaire Boys Club and working on various music projects, including the popular theme song for "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." His diverse creative pursuits have solidified Nigo as a multifaceted figure in both the fashion and music industries.
