Biography

Los Angeles-based quintet NIGHT RIOTS made waves with their EP Howl and hit single “Contagious,” which reached No. 1 on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation and garnered over 15 million streams. The band, comprised of vocalist Travis Hawley, bassist Mikel Van Kranenburg, guitarists Nick Fotinakes and Matt DePauw, and drummer Rico Rodriguez, toured extensively and shared stages with artists like Lana Del Rey and Morrissey, earning praise from various media outlets.

Their follow-up album LOVE GLOOM, produced by Joe Chiccarelli and recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, showcased moody-but-danceable melodies and atmospheric arrangements on tracks like “Nothing Personal” and “All For You.” NIGHT RIOTS toured with acts such as Andrew McMahon and The Maine before embarking on their own successful headlining tour, selling out shows in the US and UK. In July 2019, they released NEW STATE OF MIND, featuring bright colors and nostalgic textures, and continued their momentum with a headlining release run and UK festival appearances.
