Natiruts

Natiruts, a reggae roots band, originated in Brasília (Distrito Federal) in 1994 as Nativus. In 1997, the group released their independent CD "Nativus," featuring the popular track "Presente de um Beija-Flor," which sold 40,000 copies. Following a legal dispute with Os Nativos, the band underwent a name change to Natiruts. Their debut album, reissued by EMI, achieved significant success, selling 450,000 copies. Subsequent albums like "Povo Brasileiro" and "Verbalize" produced hits such as "Povo Brasileiro" and "Proteja-se e Lute," and the title track of "Verbalize" also found success.
