Naaz

Naaz, a Kurdish independent artist and director hailing from the Netherlands, began writing songs as a means of escape in her youth, which she later tattooed on her body as symbols of freedom. Teaching herself to write, produce, and compose, she launched her first project, Bits of Naaz, from her childhood bedroom. Despite industry hurdles as a Middle Eastern woman, Naaz has toured Europe four times with her unique blend of English and Kurdish music, earning accolades from renowned figures like Elton John and Lana Del Rey. Her resilience shines through in her music and self-directed visuals, earning her awards and critical acclaim.
