Mysonne

Born and raised in the Bronx, Mysonne E. Linen emerged from the New York mixtape scene in the late '90s before signing to Violator Management and Def Jam Records. Despite initial pursuits in basketball and criminal justice, his passion for hip-hop led him to join Wanna Blow Entertainment in 1997, where he made a name for himself through mixtape appearances and MC battles. His promising career was cut short in 1999 when he was convicted on armed robbery charges and sentenced to seven to 14 years in prison. Upon his release in 2006, Mysonne returned to the studio fueled by the overwhelming support of his fans during his time behind bars.
