Biography

Mr. Bungle, originating in 1985 as a death metal band, evolved into a genre-defying group blending ska, heavy metal, disco, thrash, funk, and jazz influences. After releasing acclaimed albums like Mr. Bungle, Disco Volante, and California, the band disbanded in 1999, only to reunite in 2020 for shows and a re-recording of their 1986 demo, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny.

Formed in Eureka, California, Mr. Bungle, led by vocalist Mike Patton, gained a cult following with their unconventional sound and theatrical live performances. Despite Patton's success with Faith No More, Mr. Bungle continued to push musical boundaries until their hiatus in 1999. The band's return in 2020 with a reimagined lineup led to a successful re-release of their demo and a live-stream concert album.
