Mouse on Mars

Mouse on Mars, consisting of Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner, are known for their innovative blend of ambient, techno, dub, rock, and jazz. Since their debut in 1993, the duo has continuously pushed boundaries with albums like Vulvaland, Autoditacker, Idiology, and Parastrophics, showcasing a mix of styles and influences. Their more recent works, such as Dimensional People and AAI, demonstrate a fusion of cutting-edge technology, academic theory, and a passion for electronic music, highlighting their adventurous spirit.

In addition to their Mouse on Mars project, Toma and St. Werner have been involved in various collaborations and solo endeavors over the years. They have worked with artists like Mark E. Smith, Von Südenfed, and Stereolab, showcasing their versatility and creativity across different musical projects. The duo's dedication to experimentation was further evident in their live orchestral piece Paeanumnion and releases like Lichter and Synaptics EP, where they explored electro-acoustic dub and genres like juke and footwork.
