Biography
Morning Parade, a five-piece band from Essex, formed in 2008 and quickly gained attention for their energetic blend of trance-style synths and anthemic rock guitars. After securing a major-label deal with Parlophone, they released their self-titled debut album in early 2012, followed by their sophomore album, Pure Adulterated Joy, in 2014 with production from Ben Allen of Animal Collective. Tragically, bassist Phil Titus passed away on March 9, 2023 at the age of 36.
The band's sound, reminiscent of Friendly Fires and Delphic, garnered them support slots on U.K. tours with Florence + the Machine, Ash, and Tinchy Stryder. Working with Blur producer Jason Cox at Damon Albarn's 13 Studios, Morning Parade released singles like "Under the Stars," "A&E," "On Your Shoulders," and "Us & Ourselves" in 2011, showcasing their dynamic musical style and captivating live performances.
