Mor ve Ötesi

Formed in 1996, mor ve ötesi is a prominent figure in modern Turkish rock, known for their songwriting and arrangement skills. Over the past two decades, the band has released 8 studio albums, numerous singles, and an award-winning motion picture soundtrack. Notable for their transition from alternative to mainstream with the release of their 2004 album "Dünya Yalan Söylüyor," mor ve ötesi represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008. In 2016, they celebrated 20 years of recording with the release of "Kayıtlar 2005-2016," a comprehensive collection of their recorded material. Their latest studio album, "Sirenler," was followed by their first solo stadium gig on May 28, 2022, drawing a crowd of 35,000.

In 2018, mor ve ötesi released their first live album, "Canlı Senfonik - Aya İrini," capturing a performance with a symphonic orchestra in the historic Byzantine church of Hagia Irene in Istanbul. With a distinctive sound and enduring presence in the Turkish music scene, mor ve ötesi continues to be a significant voice in Turkish rock music, inspiring generations of musicians in Turkey and beyond.
