Milano, a French singer and rapper, known by his pseudonym "C'est Milano" or his artist name "MILANO," arrived in Germany in 2019. Growing up in impoverished circumstances in France, Milano developed a passion for music early on, learning saxophone and piano and drawing influence from soul, jazz, and R&B. Discovering French hip-hop at age 11, he began rapping. Despite moving to Germany to live with his father, Milano initially struggled with the language, spending his early months in Dortmund alone in his room. Through Instagram, he started experimenting with rap in French.

Milano, recognized for his music in both French and German, has a long-standing nickname he acquired in childhood.
