Mick Fleetwood

Mick Fleetwood, the drummer and anchor of Fleetwood Mac, led the band through various musical transformations from blues to pop/rock. While mainly staying with Fleetwood Mac, he also ventured into solo projects, releasing albums like The Visitor and I'm Not Me in the early 1980s. Fleetwood continued his solo career with the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band and organized a tribute concert for his late bandmate Peter Green in 2020, released as Celebrate the Music of Peter Green in 2021.

Throughout Fleetwood Mac's career, Fleetwood's solo endeavors showcased his interest in worldbeat and blues roots. Despite the band's lineup changes and hiatuses, Fleetwood kept versions of Fleetwood Mac active. He also worked on side projects like Zoo and collaborations with other artists, culminating in various album releases, including Blue Again! with the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band and Something Big with songwriter Todd Smallwood.
