Italian singer-songwriter Michele Zarrillo, born in 1957 in Rome, gained recognition for his strong compositional skills in the pop music scene. He won the 1987 Sanremo Festival with "La notte dei pensieri" and achieved great success with "Cinque Giorni" at Sanremo '94. Zarrillo released the album "L'amore vuole amore" in 1997, which included hits like "Una rosa blu" leading to a successful European tour. He marked his thirtieth year in music with the CD + DVD release "Michele Zarrillo live - Rome" in 2009 and returned to Sanremo in 2017 with "Mani nelle mani" from his album "Vivere e rinascere".
