Mbosso, born Mbwana Yusuph Kilungi on October 3, 1995, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is a singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist signed under WCB Wasafi since 2017. Prior to joining WCB Wasafi, he was a member of the popular East African boy group Yamoto Band, which disbanded in 2017, leading Mbosso to pursue a solo music career.

Since his debut with the single "Watakubali," Mbosso has found success and gained popularity within Tanzania and across Africa, particularly in countries like Kenya, Mayotte, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Middle East, including Oman.
