London-based producer, songwriter, and DJ Maya Jane Coles began her music career as a teenager, drawing inspiration from rap and trip-hop before exploring genres such as house, techno, and bass-driven music under her various aliases. Her debut release was in 2008 on Dogmatik, followed by releases on labels like Mobilee and Hypercolour. Maya's track "What They Say" became a house classic and was later sampled in hits by Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry. She released her debut album "Comfort" in 2013 on her label I/AM/ME, featuring collaborations with artists like Tricky and Miss Kittin.

In 2015, Maya released her first Nocturnal Sunshine album, followed by her double album "Take Flight" in 2017, showcasing downtempo and house tracks. She has toured in over 40 countries as a DJ, supporting Depeche Mode on their European stadium tour in 2017. Maya is acclaimed for her remixes of artists like Little Dragon, Bonobo, and Sia, displaying her diverse musical talents and innovative production style.
