Marina Kaye, a 21-year-old French artist from Marseille, rose to fame with her debut single "Homeless," which reached Number 1 in France. Despite initially considering herself shy and not confident in her singing abilities, Marina's friend entered her into France's Got Talent, which she won at age 13 in 2011. She signed with TGIT Music in 2012 to release her first album, Fearless, which achieved double platinum status and featured the hit song "Homeless." Since then, Marina has released her second album, Explicit, and garnered over 80 million views on YouTube, with SIA even writing one of her songs ("Freeze You Out"). Moving towards a darker pop sound in 2019, Marina's versatile voice complements her introspective songwriting, which ranges from piano ballads to electronic/R&B influences while maintaining a personal touch in her music.
