Marc Houle, a techno producer from Windsor, Ontario, differentiates himself from DJs by performing live shows built solely from his own productions. His music journey began at Detroit techno warehouse parties, leading to a pivotal moment when Richie Hawtin discovered his work at a local club and signed him to the Minus label. Houle later co-founded the Items & Things sub-label before moving to Berlin in 2008. With the help of Magda and Troy Pierce, the imprint became independent in 2011, leading to the release of Houle's successful album "Undercover" in 2012, alongside the innovative Marc Houle Remix App on iOS.
Touring globally with his unique live show, Marc Houle's music career evolved from his roots in Windsor to the Detroit techno scene. After catching the attention of Richie Hawtin, he was signed to Minus and later co-founded the independent label Items & Things with fellow producers. Houle's relocation to Berlin in 2008 marked a new chapter in his career, culminating in the release of his acclaimed album "Undercover" in 2012.
