Márama

Marama is a Uruguayan cumbia pop group formed in 2014. Their early songs, including "Loquita," "Todo comenzó bailando," and "No te vayas," gained popularity through YouTube and live performances, attracting a large following. One of their most popular tracks is "Noche loca." In 2015, the band ranked among the top 10 most listened to artists on Spotify in Argentina. They performed at the Velódromo Municipal de Montevideo in November, alongside Rombai, in a sold-out show. The band released their debut album, "Todo comenzó bailando," the same month.

In 2016, Marama premiered their biographical film "El Viaje" with Rombai and performed at the Teatro Ópera in Buenos Aires. They capped off the year with shows at the Velódromo Municipal in Uruguay and Luna Park in Argentina. The group also won the Gaviota de Oro and Plata at the Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar in 2017. In 2020, Marama made a comeback with the hit "Ya no llora," regaining popularity across the region and reconnecting with their loyal fan base.
