Manal, born in 1993 in Casablanca, Morocco, gained recognition after appearing on Lebanon's Star Academy in 2009 and later releasing her first single 'Denia' in 2015, earning her the 'Best Female Artist North Africa' award at the Africa Music Awards. She signed with RPEG Ltd in 2016 and reached a milestone with her hit 'Koulchi Ban' in April 2017, which garnered 1 million views in a short period. In February 2018, Manal signed with Sony Music Middle East and released 'Taj', solidifying her status as a breakthrough female artist in the Arab urban music scene.
In 2018, Manal collaborated with rap duo Shayfeen on 'Nah' and achieved success with her single 'Slay', featuring Moroccan rapper ElGrandeToto. The following year, she continued to release new music, dropping 'Pas Le Choix' in April 2019 and the love ballad 'NTA' in September of the same year.
