Founded in 2004 in the tranquil town of Prießeck in Wendland, the three Madsen brothers Johannes (guitar), Sebastian (vocals, guitar, lyrics), and Sascha (drums) along with their friend Niko Maurer (bass) quickly rose to become one of Germany's most successful rock bands. With nine albums released, the last eight of which reached the top 10 of the German charts, Madsen have played hundreds of shows during their career, filling large venues and becoming a staple at German festivals.
