Biography

Lowercase Noises is an ambient instrumental project created by New Mexico-based composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Andy Othling. Othling's music combines ambient guitar work, electronica, and post-rock elements, evident in his early works such as Seafront (2009) and his 2014 release This Is for Our Sins. These albums were self-produced and self-released, showcasing Othling's evolving sound. In 2017, he released The Swiss Illness, featuring a richer ambient sound, further solidifying Lowercase Noises' place in the ambient music scene.
