Biography

Los Tucanes De Tijuana were founded by Mario Quintero Lara and initially recorded with Cadena Musical and Mexico/Unisono Records in the USA. In 1994, the band signed with Alacran Records, releasing albums such as "Clave Nueva" and "Me Robaste El Corazón". They continued to collaborate with EMI Latin, a division of EMI Capitol Records, and later joined Universal Music Group in 2000, releasing albums like "Me Gusta Vivir De Noche" and "Corridos De Primera Plana".

Over the years, Los Tucanes De Tijuana have released around 50 albums and compilations, including notable works like "Romance Norteño" and "Corridos Time/Season Two: Los Implacables". The band's discography also includes themed albums like "Corridos Time/Season One: Soy a Parrandero" and "Corridos Del Norte". In 2023, they released "Retro-Corridos Vol. 2" and followed up with an EP titled "Corridos Del Norte" in 2024 under Master Q Music, Inc.
