Los Iracundos

In the early '60s, a group of Uruguayan high school students formed a rock band, originally known as los Blue Kings. Renamed los Iracundos before releasing their debut album, the band gained fame in Argentina, touring extensively and even performing at New York's Madison Square Garden. Despite the loss of singer Eduardo Franco in 1989, the group persevered, welcoming new members in the 1990s.

Los Iracundos' journey began with a radio show performance and led to international success, with hits like "Puerto Montt" dominating Latin American music charts. The band's enduring popularity and resilience through lineup changes and tragedy showcase their lasting impact on the music scene.
