Biography
Daniel Calderón currently leads the musical group originally formed by the Calderón brothers and their musician friends from Urabá. The Calderón family members showed early talent for vallenato music, impressing audiences with their instrumental skills and compositions in Medellín. As teenagers, Ibio, Hugo, Ivan, Argiro, and Fabián established themselves as Los Gigantes del Vallenato, opening their own venue named 'La Universidad del Vallenato'. The group later recorded with Codiscos studios under the guidance of Iván Calderón, featuring vocalists Kissy Calderón, Elí Osorio, and Luis Miguel Fuentes, followed by Heberth Vargas and accordion player Nicky López, supported by the Calderón musical family.
