Los del Río

In the 1960s, Spanish duo Antonio Romero Monge and Rafael Ruiz formed Los del Rio, achieving global success in the '90s with their hit song "Macarena." Originally released in 1993, the track gained popularity in Spain before an English-language remix by the Bayside Boys in 1995 propelled it to international stardom. "Macarena" topped the U.S. charts for 14 weeks in 1996, selling over four million copies and inspiring a dance craze. Los del Rio continued to leverage the song's success, including a version on their 2012 album Vámonos Que Nos Vamos.
