Linda Perhacs

Linda Perhacs, a California-based singer/songwriter, gained recognition for her influential psych-folk masterpiece, Parallelograms. Initially released in the 1970s, the album was poorly mastered by the record label, leading Perhacs to retreat from the music scene and return to her job as a dental hygienist. Decades later, in 2003, the album was reissued by Michael Piper, sparking a resurgence of interest in Perhacs and her music.

In more recent years, Perhacs has experienced a resurgence in her music career. She collaborated with artists like Devendra Banhart and Daft Punk, eventually releasing new material in 2014 with The Soul of All Natural Things after a 44-year hiatus. Continuing her musical journey, Perhacs released her third album, I'm a Harmony, in 2017 with Omnivore Recordings, showcasing her enduring talent and unique sound.
