Lil' Suzy

Born Suzanne Casale on March 1, 1979, in Brooklyn, freestyle diva Lil Suzy began her music career at a young age, gaining recognition for her performances in New York City clubs. She released her debut album, Love Can't Wait, in 1991, which featured the hit single "Take Me in Your Arms." Lil Suzy was named Billboard's Best New Dance Artist in 1992 and went on to release several more albums, including Back to Dance in 1994, Life Goes On in 1995, and Paradise in 1997, showcasing her talent as a singer and songwriter.

In addition to her successful music career, Lil Suzy made history at the age of 17 by becoming the youngest record label president when she founded Empress Records. Her contributions to the freestyle music genre were further highlighted in 1999 with the release of Lil Suzy: The Megamix.
