Biography

Led by singer/songwriter Jason Wade, Lifehouse formed in 1995 under the name Blyss before transitioning to their current moniker. The band's accessible pop/rock sound garnered attention, leading to a contract with Dreamworks Records as an alternative rock trio, with bassist Sergio Andrade and drummer Jon Palmer completing the lineup. Their debut album, No Name Face, released in 2000, achieved double-platinum status, propelled by the hit single "Hanging by a Moment."

Following the success of their debut, Lifehouse released subsequent albums, including Stanley Climbfall in 2002 and a self-titled album in 2005. Despite lineup changes, the band continued to produce popular records like Who We Are in 2007 and Smoke & Mirrors in 2010. After a brief hiatus, they returned with Almeria in 2012, followed by Out of the Wasteland in 2015. The band's compilation album, Greatest Hits, was released in 2017, coinciding with a tour alongside Switchfoot.
