Since forming in 2012, Leftwing : Kody (Jon and Chris) quickly garnered attention from Mixmag and DJ Mag, establishing themselves as ones to watch in the underground scene. With successful releases on labels like Desolat, Relief, Sony, and Lost, the duo's versatile production style and genre-blending approach have propelled them to new heights. Their track "Snap Back" became Desolat's best-selling release, and their remix of Kelis' "Milkshake" reached the top 10 charts, while "Keep Pushin' On" found success on their own Lost imprint.

With over 10 million streams for their pivotal track "I Feel It" and remixes from industry heavyweights like Paul Woolford and Boston Bun, Leftwing : Kody's momentum continued to grow in 2019 with a signing to Columbia Records.
