Leftside began his music career in 1995 as a DJ in a prominent Kingston sound system before teaming up with producer Cordell “Scatta” Burrell in 1997, creating hits like the “Chiney Gal” and “Double Jeopardy” riddims. His standout production, the “Martial Arts” riddim featuring tracks by Sizzla and Bounty Killer, gained significant acclaim.

In 2000, Leftside transitioned to a successful singing career with the breakout hit “More Punany” in 2007. His music has since garnered international recognition, with collaborations with artists like Sean Paul and Major Lazer, accumulating millions of streams and views across platforms.
