Quality Control Music's latest addition, Lakeyah, is making waves with her unique blend of velvety R&B and hard-hitting rap, showcasing her versatility and talent that sets her apart from her QC labelmates. Hailing from Milwaukee, Lakeyah's journey from a shy, studious upbringing to a rising star began with a viral remix in 2019 that caught the attention of Quality Control and City Girls' JT. After relocating to Atlanta with her girlfriend, Lakeyah continued to impress with her dynamic sound, as seen in her project The Keymix II released in early 2020, which highlighted her ability to seamlessly switch between aggressive rap and soulful R&B.
