Biography

Formed in 2019 by producers and composers Luis Jimenez and Agustín Zubillaga, LAGOS is a musical project that transitioned from working behind the scenes to performing on major stages. Their debut album "CLÁSICOS" in 2021 produced hits like "Mónaco," "Julia," and "Cuerno." The duo later won their first Latin Grammy for co-writing the worldwide hit "Ojos Marrones" by Lasso, and also received two "Éxito SACM" awards for their songs.

In May 2024, LAGOS released their highly personal second studio album, "Alta Fidelidad," featuring tracks such as "Tengamos Pasado" and "Blanco y Negro" with Elena Rose. The band kicked off the "Alta Fidelidad Tour" in Mexico City in August to a sold-out crowd, with upcoming stops in various cities including Barcelona and Madrid, where tickets have already sold out months in advance. Currently, LAGOS is nominated for the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards for their songs "Dime Quién" and "Blanco y Negro."
