Led by clarinetist René Camacho, La Arrolladora Banda el Limón is a banda group from Sinaloa that debuted in 1997. The group, based in El Limón de los Peraza, performs Mexican regional music genres such as rancheras, corridos, ballads, and cumbias. They released eight albums on La Sierra Records between 1997 and 2001 before signing with Disa Records, an affiliate of Univision Music Group, and continued to release albums regularly, including live recordings.
La Arrolladora Banda el Limón's popularity grew over the years, leading to chart success with albums like Más Adelante (2009). Their earlier material was repackaged by Sony Music in compilations, and they released themed compilations in subsequent years. The group's albums consistently performed well on the charts, with Ojos en Blanco (2015) reaching number one on the Mexican Regional albums chart and earning a Latin Grammy nomination. Their subsequent releases, Libre Otra Vez (2016), Calidad y Cantidad (2018), and Labios Mentirosos (2019), also achieved chart success.
