Ophir Kutiel, also known as Kutiman, is a versatile composer, instrumentalist, and producer recognized for his dance and groove-infused musical style. Starting his musical journey at a young age, Kutiel began playing the piano at just six years old and later expanded his skills to include drums and guitar during his teenage years. His debut album, self-titled Kutiman, was released in 2007, featuring singles such as "No Groove Where I Come From" and "Music Is Ruling My World" with HaBanot Nechama's Karolina.

Kutiel gained widespread acclaim for his innovative Thru You project, which involved sampling disparate YouTube videos from various musicians and blending them into original compositions. This groundbreaking initiative, launched in 2009, quickly went viral, accumulating over ten million views and leading Kutiel to explore similar video-based collaborations in subsequent projects like Thru You Too, My Favorite Color, and Off the Grid, as well as city-themed endeavors in Krakow, Tokyo, and Tel Aviv.
