Kon's musical journey began with his exposure to hip-hop in New York City and Boston, leading him to start collecting records and DJ'ing in the mid-'80s. He later formed the duo Kon & Amir with DJ Amir Abdullah, releasing mixes of obscure soul, funk, jazz, and disco. Kon ventured into producing hip-hop tracks for various artists before transitioning to house music under his solo moniker. His releases include the On My Way album and the compilation Kon & The Gang. In 2019, he collaborated with Ben Westbeech on the project "The Vision," producing the hit single "Heaven," and he has upcoming releases in 2022, including the project "Saturday Love" with Fiorious.
