Biography

Experimental hip-hop producer Knxwledge, originally from New Jersey, gained recognition in 2009 for his glitchy, abstract tracks released on MySpace and Bandcamp. His debut LP, Klouds, was released by All City Records in 2010, followed by the cassette Buttrskotch on Leaving Records in 2012. Knxwledge later moved to Los Angeles and continued to produce for underground artists such as Blu and Joey Bada$$. He contributed to Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly in 2015 and released the beat tape Hud Dreems on Stones Throw Records that same year, solidifying his status in the international beatmaking scene.
