Klaypex

Klaypex, an electronic dance music group, blends hard-hitting electro-house with dubstep influences from acts like Infected Mushroom, Deadmau5, and Skrillex. Formed officially in the early 2010s, their debut album Loose Dirt in 2011 gained traction with the viral hit "Dubstep Guns."

The duo behind Klaypex, Johnny Atar and Mark Emmanuel, met in Toronto in 2006 and initially explored alternative rock and heavy metal before transitioning to electronic music in 2010. Relocating to Miami, they released Loose Dirt in 2011, featuring a Skrillex-inspired sound and the viral track "Dubstep Guns." Subsequent releases like Ready to Go and Anything Goes showcased their evolving style, incorporating elements of future bass and trap while collaborating with various artists. The EP The Future expanded on their sound, demonstrating influences from Daft Punk and continuing to release singles up to 2016.
