Biography
London-based rock band Klaxons, consisting of Jamie Reynolds, James Righton, and Simon Taylor, are heavily influenced by late-'80s/early-'90s U.K. rave music. Dubbed "nu-rave," Klaxons gained popularity with NME and signed with Polydor Records after the release of their second single. Their debut album, Myths of the Near Future, won the Mercury Prize in 2007. Despite initial setbacks with experimental material, Klaxons released their second album, Surfing the Void, in 2010, produced by Ross Robinson.
