Biography

Since winning the 2010 Faya Flow hip-hop competition in Abidjan, Ivorian collective Kiff No Beat has solidified their breakout status over the past decade with a diverse blend of rap, trap, R&B, and pop. Following successful projects like 2014's Pétards d'Ados and 2015's Cubisme, the group signed with Universal Music Africa and released their full-length album, Bledard Is the New Fresh, in 2019.

Formed in 2009 by Black K, Eljay, Elow'n, Didi B, and Joochar, Kiff No Beat's unique collective style quickly gained attention after their Faya Flow win. Their early releases, including Cadeau de Noël in 2011 and the Jackson Five mixtape in 2012, set the stage for their international success with Pétards d'Ados in 2014. Signing with Universal Music Africa in 2017, the group continued to thrive with projects like Made in Bled and their major-label debut, Bledard Is the New Fresh, showcasing their evolution and ability to reach a global audience.
