Kevon Edmonds

Kevon Edmonds, brother of Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, was a member of the successful vocal group After 7, known for hit singles like "Ready or Not" and "Can't Stop" in the '90s. After the group disbanded, Edmonds embarked on a solo career, achieving another Top Ten hit in 1999 with "24/7."

Growing up in Indianapolis, Edmonds was influenced by classic soul artists like Stevie Wonder and Gladys Knight. He joined After 7 with his brother and a classmate from Indiana University, gaining attention from producers L.A. Reid and Babyface. The group released platinum-selling albums and contributed to soundtracks, solidifying their reputation as a top-performing act before going on hiatus. Edmonds continued his music career through collaborations and background vocals, including working with his brother on notable projects in the late '90s.
